Interaction with medicinal products
Antacids, glucosamine, laxatives, food, aminoglycosides slow down and decrease absorption; ascorbic acid increases absorption.
Bactericidal antibiotics (including cephalosporins, cycloserine, vancomycin, rifampicin), aminoglycosides exert a synergistic effect; bacteriostatic antibiotics (including macrolides, chloramphenicol, lincosamides, tetracyclines) - antagonistic.
Increases the effectiveness of anticoagulants (suppressing the intestinal microflora, reduces the prothrombin index); reduces the effectiveness of oral contraceptives, drugs, in the process of metabolism which forms PABC.
Diuretics, allopurinol, tubular secretion blockers, phenylbutazone, NSAIDs reduce tubular secretion, thereby increasing the concentration.
Allopurinol increases the risk of allergic reactions (skin rashes).
